Battle Tours ZA currently offers four unique battlefield experiences as detailed below.

* Additional tours are continuously being designed, and customised fully guided tours can also be arranged to any other South African War or Anglo-Zulu War battlefields on request.

A ten-day tour covering nine important battles during the guerrilla phase and the Natal campaign of the South African War, and two cemeteries related to these battles. Included in the itinerary is a day visit to the world famous Sun City Resort, a day visit to a National Game Park where Africa’s wildlife can be seen in their natural habitat, and visits to many of the world renowned tourist experiences in and around Johannesburg! 

Air-conditioned transport, plus nine nights 4-star accommodation, on a bed and breakfast basis with certain dinners included.

A ten-day tour covering 11 important battles during the guerrilla phase and the Natal campaign of the South African War. Included in the itinerary is a stay at the internationally recognised Kruger National Park where Africa’s wildlife can be seen in their natural habitat, a day experiencing the spectacular scenic beauty of the Mpumalanga Province and a visit to a small museum town, ending up with experiencing many of the world renowned tourist sites in and around Johannesburg.

A ten-day tour covering 16 important battles during the guerrilla phase and the Natal campaign of the South African War, and two battles of the Anglo-Zulu War. 23 British VCs were awarded in these South African War battles – and a staggering 14 British VCs were awarded in the two Anglo-Zulu War battles!

A three-day short tour covering eight significant South African War battles fought during the guerrilla phase of this conflict around the Magaliesberg Mountains and the Western Transvaal. Four British VCs were awarded in the battles covered.
